David was born in 1952. He is married and has seven children and seven grandchildren. He also has five dogs and four cats. He has been employed at Richmond State Hospital, a state psychiatric hospital, since 1977. David started as a night shift attendant and worked on night shift for 17 1/2 years. During that time he became a registered nurse and is now Assistant Director of Nursing.
David has been playing simulation war games since 1967. He started playing RPGs when Dungeons & Dragons first hit the scene. He has played Tunnels & Trolls, Runequest (original & Avalon Hill versions), The Fantasy Trip, all versions of D&D except 4.0, and many more. He has kept every game and game accessory he has ever purchased. His game library is extensive.
He started writing campaigns and scenarios when he became the game master for his gaming group which has been gaming since 1974. Many never saw completion but now exist as a gold mine of ideas. David is an avid fan of GenCon and has attended it every year since it came to Indianapolis. He will be there every year as long as it stays in Indy.
